The Federal Records Center is the depository for official personnel folders (OPF) of persons no longer in federal service. Current federal employees should contact their agency HR office for OPF access. Former employees contact NARA directly and must provide:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Social Security number
- Last employing agency and duty station
- Approximate employment dates
- Signature (required)
